Ms. Monica Lovins is a certified adult nurse practitioner who has been in healthcare for the past 40 years, advancing her career as an ICU registered nurse, ICU educator, and teaching at Catholic University of America while earning her Master of Science with a 3.89 GPA from Felician University, Lodi, New Jersey. She has received multiple nursing awards including excellence and expertise in multiple nursing modalities.

Monica joined the Gastro Center of Maryland in 2017 after many years at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital in the Department of Surgery, Bariatric Department. Her mission is to treat all gastrointestinal diseases and facilitate the best outcomes for patients suffering from chronic gastrointestinal diseases.

When she is off, Monica enjoys sewing, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
